Why are there no pictures?

We are often asked, "Why are there no pictures of students on your website?"

We took the decision a number of years ago that as part of our Child Protection procedures we would not publish pictures of our students on the Carrick-on-Shannon Community School website.

While we would love to publish the pictures of our students celebrating their successes in the State Examinations or on the playing field, we believe that it is not appropriate for these images to be made available to the world via the internet.
