Our School Crest

The School Crest embodies a stylised representation of our ancient and recent past.

The bridge - represents the coming together of our former schools, the four arches representing each of them.
The celtic cross - is a symbol of the Christian tradition of our island while the rising fish depicts the salmon of knowledge.
The water - symbolises the river Shannon and our motto “ag lorg na fírinne” represents our searching for the truth, the reason for our existence.
