Each year an option is given to students and they vote where to go. Our normal destinations are; Barcelona, Lake Garda and Venice, the Rhineland, and Paris. Last year Krakow was a very successful addition to the list. Students who sign up for the trip (towards the end of 3rd year) have the whole summer to save for the trip , and the school organises fund-raisers to try to keep costs down. Generally the group size is around 45 and they are accompanied by 6 or 7 teachers. (See our Continental Tour photos for a light-hearted look back at some of our trips abroad) Trips take place out of school time, normally during the Halloween mid-term, but occasionally during the Spring Break.

We attempt to foster a caring attitude amongst our students, especially towards those in most need. This manifests itself in occasional fund-raising for voluntary organisations, helping out the local Vincent de Paul organisation and staging one-off special events, like the Fashion Show held in the school a couple of years back. The Concern fast is an event that is very well supported.
