Carrick on Shannon is situated on the Leitrim-Roscommon border and our numbers are divided evenly between the 2 counties. At present we have representatives from 19 different nationalities on our rolls, and over one in six of our student body was born outside Ireland. This presents undoubted challenges, and some teething problems, but the multicultural fabric of our student body has the potential to be a hugely enriching experience for all concerned.
